Today was spent doing small crafts and finding ways to reuse some items I had lying around. Read below to see more info on each:

Hair ties from tights

Tiny gift boxes from toilet paper rolls

Washi Tape storage

Hair Ties:

These are great because, if done properly, look like bracelets when wearing them on your wrist. This is a good way to disguise your back up plan. My recommendation is to use children's tights because they don't stretch too much. If you use adult tights you can just double them around your wrist. This site will give you the basic instructions. What I can say is stick to children's tights, nylon, and thick! Those 3 together make the perfect hair ties/bracelets. You can see in my photo that the ones which were stretched too big I have tied a knot in to make them smaller. This is ok for the hair tie function but doesn't really camouflage them as bracelets.

Tiny Gift boxes from TP rolls:

If I need to explain how to do this then you should question how you are a functioning adult. I added some fun washi tape to each. Side note: These are perfect gift boxes for the hair ties you just made from above instructions.

While using my washi tape I realized I had an old Ladurée macaron box which holds washi tape perfectly. Now may tape has a super fancy home.
