Personal vs. Professional Social Media

I'm proud of everything I've accomplished so far in my life and especially the woman I have become in the last year. I am not afraid to take risks, I'm learning new things all the time, I'm choosing to be happy, I'm surrounding myself with positivity and people I choose. The exception to this is Social Media. While I'm on a journey to say goodbye to Social Media, I have to remind myself that part of social media is for professional purposes too. So my goodbye is personal. Yet my blog is both personal and professional. This is going to be hard!
Initially KTDoes was set up to chronicle my journey buying and fixing up a home or business as well as provide travel tips. It somehow blossomed into so much more. I'm going to try my best to stick to the original scope of this site (as well as zero waste & sustainability) without getting too personal. I have come to realize that I am way too sensitive for negative feedback and criticism. I'd love to be the person who can handle it but I end up holding onto negativity way too long and internalizing it. It even prevents things I wish to do or be in the future because I hang onto it for so long.
So goodbye personal SM. Yes, I'll still use FB and Insta to promote KTDoes and Enkel Mercantile as long as I keep these two up and running but I'm going to try and utilize my free time improving myself outside of SM.
